Boolean Algebra is used to analyse digital gates and circuits. We can use these “Laws of Boolean” to both reduce and simplify a complex Boolean expression in an attempt to reduce the number of logic gates required.
In this tutorial various Boolean laws and theorems are discussed. Also it contains solved examples of minimizing logical expressions using the boolean laws and theorems such as Transposition, Distribution, De Morgan’s Theorem, Consensus Theorem.
