Working on a newly finished Borderpipe set. The chanter still needs some fine voicing but the drones are rock steady. The chanter is also nice and steady with the steady and constant pressure that border-pipes demand. The set is African Blackwood with bloodwood mounts and hand rolled nickel silver ferrules. The bag is black leather with nickel rivets and a T-zip zipper which I added since the set is mouthblown and needs a desiccant drying system for the chanter reed. The drying system is also made by myself and I use Ross canister desiccant rocks the system.
I make pipes for a living and rarely play anymore due to a nerve issue in my hand, so I hope I can do this set justice.
