BORIS FX MOCHA AFTER EFFECTS TRACKING TUTORIAL

Today we're going to be talking about Mocha After Effects. Mocha is a planar tracking and masking plugin that's included with After Effects. There also is a paid version of this plugin called Mocha Pro and we will be doing a tutorial on the features of that in the future as well. But today, we're just going to be talking about the tracking feature of Mocha ae but I will be doing more tutorials in the future on Rotoscoping and Masking in Mocha! The great thing about Mocha is it can accomplish the same kind of tracking as After effects motion tracker but Mocha can also do it much faster and more accurately because it uses GPU acceleration. Mocha is a planar tracker, you can also say that it's a texture tracker. Usually, when you're tracking points in after effects, you're tracking pixels within the search area you created. But when you use Mocha, you're tracking texture and contrast which means that even if the things you're tracking are out of focus, it will still produce a great track!
