#Botswana has signed a series of strategic cooperation agreements with #Oman aimed at strengthening economic ties and expanding collaboration in key sectors including #energy and #mining. The agreements were finalized during a visit by Botswana’s President Duma Gideon Boko to the Gulf nation, where he held discussions with Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. The partnerships are designed to deepen economic cooperation while opening new avenues for #investment and #infrastructure development. Under the agreements, the two countries will cooperate on mineral exploration across Botswana, develop a 500-megawatt solar power project, and invest in petroleum storage infrastructure to strengthen fuel security and regional supply chains.
