We often wait for a savior, a teacher, or a future event to redeem us, but the light of awareness is already your most fundamental nature. It is not something you need to acquire or manufacture; it is something you must simply uncover. Just as the sun is always shining behind the thickest storm clouds, your essential radiance remains untouched by your worries, your failures, or your stories. The spiritual path is not a journey toward a distant goal, but a process of clearing away the mental clutter that obscures the obvious. When the clouds of frantic thought finally part, you do not find a new light; you realize you have been standing in the sun all along.
