Brassinosteroids (BR) are a group of some 40 different steroids that are far more potent than the other hormones — acting at far lower concentrations than the others.
Promotion of cell expansion and cell elongation
Promotion of vascular differentiation
Are necessary for pollen elongation for pollen tube formation.
BR has the ability to improve the quantity and quality of horticultural crops and protect plants against many environmental stresses.
