Break Chopping & Mini Notation With Strudel.cc (Beginners)
I’ve been on a bit of a Strudle.cc hype recently and have covered a lot of ground in the last few week. One of the things I’ve really struggle to understand is controlling the speed of the functions using mini notation. Also just developing a workflow for breaks that yields great results. I hope this is a useful for beginners and anyone getting into this awesome program like me! 💎 Groovin in G https://www.patreon.com/groovining/membership ☀️💎- - - Sample Packs - - -💎☀️ 🪐 🪐 🪐 https://www.groovingbiz.co.uk/echoes-of-light 🌴Planet Jungle - https://www.groovingbiz.co.uk/planet-jungle 🐬Aquatic Dreams Bundle https://www.groovingbiz.co.uk/aquaticdreams ⭐️ 90’s Jungle Pads - https://www.groovingbiz.co.uk/90drumfunk 💎- - - Sample Pack recommendations - - -💎 IJO - https://ijosound.gumroad.com/l/akaibreaks Thought Forms - https://thoughtforms.gumroad.com/ Fanu - https://fanu.bandcamp.com/album/d-b-breaks-sample-pack-by-fanu Blu Mar Ten Jungle Jungle (Free) - https://blumarten.bandcamp.com/album/blu-mar-ten-jungle-jungle-1989-to-1999-samplepack Jungle Warfare (free) -https://www.reddit.com/r/Drumkits/comments/lug5zw/0gjungle_warfare_1_2_3_official_90s_junglednb/ - - - Chapters - - - 0:00 Intro 02:18 Understanding Cycles 04:55 github Breaks 05:35 Breaks & Sample Resources 07:24 ADSR 08:13 fit vs loopAt 10:00 Sequencing with slice & mini notation 19:16 Sequenced Breaks Final Example 20:04 Random Breaks with irand & seg 20:52 Controlling randomness with rib 22:06 bite for slicing patterns 24:00 Mini Notation recap 24:29 rib sequencing
