Breaking Into Light (1)
Breaking Into Light By Jennifer Shiloh The walls came down without a sound, Just dust where I once stood my ground. I tried to hold what slipped away, But truth don’t bend, it makes you break. I felt the crack inside my chest, Where all my hidden shadows slept. And in the fall, I realized— The dark was where I learned to rise. When I broke into light, Every shadow lost its fight. All the pieces I denied Turned to power deep inside. When I broke into light, I stopped running from the night— What I feared would end me Was what set me free. ______________________ I tried to bury what I knew, But truth burned hotter breaking through. Every lie I held so tight Turned to embers in the night. I watched it all fall into flame, Every mask, every name. And in the smoke, I saw it clear— The real me was always here. Ashes don’t lie, They show what survives the fire. What burns away wasn’t mine— Just the weight I carried inside. Ashes don’t lie, They leave only truth behind— And I’m still standing, alive. ______________________ I built my walls a mile high, Brick by brick, I learned to hide. But pressure builds where truth is caged, And something in me couldn’t stay. The cracks spread wide, I couldn’t pretend, The version of me had to end. But breaking wasn’t what it seemed— It was becoming everything. Unbreak me open, Let the truth come flooding in. Every piece I tried to hold Was never meant to win. Unbreak me open, I don’t fear the fall anymore— Every shattered piece of me Is stronger than before. #Shorts #music #rock #viral #trending #OriginalSong #RockBallad, #FemaleVocals, #EmotionalRock, #Resilience #Healing, #AnthemicRock #IndieRock #NewMusic #Empowerment #spiritual #music #religion #healingmusic #spirituality #spiritual #rock
