In this video we talk about Through wall flashing at the top of wall openings commonly referred to as Lintel Flashing. The Lintel supports the brick and the code says there should be flashing anywhere the brick is supported. The vast majority of builders do not install the flashing which can cause several problems such as brick cracks, rusty lintels and more importantly , moisture penetration of the wall.
