This was one of my first attempts at improvising while recording.
Although I had the song written in terms of lyrics, chords, basic structure etc. I allowed myself plenty of space to experiment with different bass and piano parts.
Of course, recording this way inevitably takes quite a bit longer as you are forced to make multiple attempts before you are satisfied.
In the end, I was quite happy with how this one turned out.
