Bringing data into CODAP
This how-to video is an overview of bringing data into CODAP from different sources—by hand, through Google Sheets or CSV files, copy and paste tabular data, and by using the Concord Consortium Sensor Interactive plug-in. - Options for bringing data into CODAP (0). - Remember to set each column’s attributes, especially units (0:15). - For more complex tables, you may want to capture data in a spreadsheet before importing or dragging into CODAP as a CSV (comma separated value) file for analysis (1:37). - If importing from a spreadsheet, the first row should include column headers (variable names) with units in parentheses. All other rows should contain data (1:45). - Import a CSV file into CODAP (2:33). - Import a Google Sheets document into CODAP (3:14). - Drag data into CODAP or paste tabular data into CODAP (3:58). - You can import sensor data directly into CODAP.
