Story: Sessohmaru loves Kagome but can’t control his new found power. Although he uses them only to protect her, she keeps getting caught in the blasts and aftermaths of the attacks. Sessohmaru is torn up emotionally about this, as he wants Kagome as his mate. He leaves her for a while to train safely away from humans. He returns to a warm reception, but is short lived as Kagome’s work as a priestess leaves her with bruises and wounds. Sessohmaru tries to help during one battle, but can’t save her from falling and kill the demon. Kagome fears the worst and Sessohmaru has returned to old ways.
