Despite struggling to make ends meet, Anita (Carmi Martin) takes it upon herself to carry the burden of providing for her son, Reli (Zaijan Jaranilla). When all hope seems lost, Anita meets Madame Rodora (Viveika Ravanes), a fortune teller who convinces her that luck is on her side. Claiming that the single mother has gold beneath her backyard, Madame Rodora persuades Anita to pay her money to help the latter dig up the hidden treasure. Giving up everything she has, Anita soon realizes her terrible mistake.
