VHS home video from July, 1998 of Basic Underwater Demolition/SEALs (BUD/S) class 220 Hell Week. It features a few of the evolutions and includes some footage of the boulders that were previously located behind Hotel Del Coronado used for the Rock Portage evolution. Also includes a few views of the "Silver Strand" and the Naval Amphib base across the street.
A classmate, Joshua Brown, gave me a copy of this video and Josh is featured in the introduction. Sadly, he was the first US fatality involving Tesla Autopilot on May 7, 2016 in Williston Florida.
This is also the same BUD/S class Gordon Racine Jr. was in and later died after vomiting underwater during the survival swim evolution. The instructors did everything they could to help him while we sat facing the fence in our boat crews.
