In this video, we explain how to build a NOT gate using a single NPN transistor with a simple circuit. The circuit uses one NPN transistor, one battery, two resistors, one switch, and one LED. The switch acts as the input, and the LED shows the output of the logic gate. When the switch is open (input 0), the transistor stays off and the LED turns on. When the switch is pressed (input 1), the transistor turns on and the LED turns off. This shows the basic working of a NOT gate, where the output is the opposite of the input. We also observe the waveform where the left signal represents the switch input and the right signal represents the LED output, clearly showing the inverted behavior.
