In this video, I’m demonstrating a Simple React Project built to test my frontend skills. This app, called Meal Explorer, features a bold 1950s Pop Art (Retro Diner) aesthetic with neon colors and nostalgic vibes. Key Highlights: React Skill Test: An advanced practical assignment focused on asynchronous data fetching and state management. Retro Diner Aesthetic: A unique 1950s-inspired UI built with pure Vanilla CSS and custom neon animations. TheMealDB API: The home page fetches live culinary data. I'll show the search functionality and how the UI handles real-time queries. Category Browsing: Exploring the specific categories section to filter meals by type (Beef, Seafood, Vegetarian, etc.). Meal Details: Opening a meal card to show the detailed recipe, ingredients, and the immersive retro layout. Interactive "Likes": Demonstrating the "Like" feature, which uses Local Storage to save your favorite recipes across sessions. Fully Responsive: A walkthrough of the mobile and tablet views to show the fluid CSS Grid layout. Project Links: In the comments Thank you for watching!
