In this video I build a monostable circuit. With a push of a button the LED on the left will turn on and switch to the one on the right. Unlike a flip flop circuit, the LEDs chase each other rather than move back and forth on their own. The concept is similar to throwing a ball and a dog fetching it back. The resistors do their job of keeping the components safe by limiting the voltage. The capacitor stores charge and the transistor makes the affect possible. The switch is a gateway that opens and closes the circuit.
