This is the simplest trap in Minecraft. All you need to do is find someone standing inside a 1x1. Then, if you can place a pressureplate and a sign on top, they become free loot! The player is forced inside the sign's hitbox, meaning they can't break the surrounding walls nor can they use items like food or buckets.
