A friend of mine recently acquired a couple of Bourbon Whiskey barrels from a local distillery @CaseyJonesDistillery , and he asked me if I would convert them into bars. He is keeping one and giving one as a gift. Very rarely do I do commission work, but this one sounded fun, so I agreed. There was a lot of work in just removing the rust and corrosion from the metal bands, not to mention all the drilling, screwing, and finishing to make these barrels into what you see here.
