Building DIY bicycles speedometer – creating a working prototype

I love going out for a ride on my bicycles, and I got tired of replacing the speedometer, so I decided to build one. I have the old reed switch and magnet from the last one, and I’m going to use it to get the reading. In this episode I show you how I connected to it, run a test to make sure it still working. Created a test code for Arduino, to see that I can read it there as well. And created a basic sketch to calculate and show speed, time and distance. I got to wait for an OLED screens I order to move to the next step, so stay tuned.
