BULLETPROOF your ARRMA diff. HOW to do it.

When I build my Arrma Kraton 6S differential using ADU parts, I always start by checking that every component fits perfectly — no burrs or rough edges on the gears or housing. I clean all the parts before assembly to make sure no dirt or debris gets inside, since that can easily damage the diff over time. I usually test-fit the gears dry first to see if everything meshes smoothly, then apply a high-quality diff oil. Make sure not to overfill it — too much oil can cause pressure and leaks, especially on sealed diffs. The bearings are super important too: they need to spin freely without any play. When tightening the diff case, always tighten the screws crosswise — that way you spread the pressure evenly, get maximum strength, and avoid stripping or warping the housing. This build also includes a new part that nobody has used before — something I’ve been experimenting with in another rig for a while now, and it’s showing really promising results. Once everything is together, I rotate the diff by hand to check for smooth operation and even resistance. If it feels gritty or tight, I reopen it and check alignment or shimming. And one last thing — take your time when building differentials. The better you do it now, the less often you’ll have to do it later. A well-built diff saves you a lot of work and frustration down the road.
