We are among the most sought-after consultants in our industry and often work on new and innovative products that have never been placed on the market before. Key Responsibilities: • Research & Analyze Target Markets - You will stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments; bringing recommendations back to the team. • Identify & Research Prospective Clients - You will actively seek out and research potential customers, industries, and markets that align with our goals. • Develop Sales Strategies - You will work with sales and marketing teams to create and implement effective sales plans and strategies. • Develop & Deliver Presentations and other Communication - You will deliver presentations to potential clients and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating the company's value proposition. • Create & Deliver Proposals and Quotes - You will develop detailed proposals and quotes, tailored to and negotiated with individual client needs. • Track & Report on Sales Related Metrics - You will track key metrics, analyze data, and report on the effectiveness of business development efforts. • Build Partnerships with Clients - You will identify and build strategic partnerships with other organizations to expand reach and opportunities. • Develop & Maintain Client Relationships - You will build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, fostering trust and collaboration. • Provide Internal Development and Coaching - You will help sales teams and other staff with new products, services, and sales strategies. Skills and Qualifications: • Strong Communication Skills - Effective verbal and written communication is essential for building relationships and presenting ideas. • Strong Collaboration Skills - Within the sales team and the company at large is must. • Sales Experience - A strong understanding of sales processes and techniques is crucial. • Negotiation Skills - Ability to negotiate terms and conditions with clients. • Market Research and Analysis - Ability to research and analyze market trends and competitor activities. • Relationship Building - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. • Strategic Thinking - Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies. • Pipeline Management - Ability to manage sales pipeline in collaboration with team. • Computer Skills - Proficiency in using or ability to learn CRM/SalesForce software and other business tools. • Industry Knowledge - Knowledge of our industry (Product Testing and Certification). • Engineering Degree - An engineering degree is preferred but not required, especially for candidates with significant experience in our industry.
