The classic pattern to cover a wide variety of mayflies. Tied in BWO, this pattern can be tied in a variety of sizes from 12-22. This one is tied on a size 20 Firehole #419 hook.
When skies are overcast and it's hard to see, this wing can be easier to see than a CDC wing. Finding the right deer hair is important as it has to be able to float the fly.
