C-DOT CAP Integrated Alert System Operational Model

CAP Integrated Alert System has been developed by C-DOT and is currently operational in 36 States/UT's. It provides a converged platform for issuing Geo-targeted alerts and advisories to people living in disaster-prone areas in vernacular languages over all available communication media like SMS, Cell Broadcast, Radio, TV, Coastal Siren, Social Media, Web Portal and Mobile Application. This one-stop solution is a concrete step towards realizing Hon’ble Prime Minister’s 10 point Agenda for Disaster Risk Reduction.
