He is a contributing author for Pluralsight training and a member of ASPInsiders. Before joining Microsoft, he was a 7-time Microsoft MVP in ASP.NET. In addition, Steve is a frequent presenter at developer conferences and user groups around the globe including Microsoft Ignite, MS Tech Summit, VSLive!, and AngularMIX. Steve also hosts the Azure Government Video series on YouTube. Before Microsoft, he served as an Architect/Developer for Applied Information Sciences (AIS) where he led numerous projects including a multi-year effort to modernize the business systems of a major insurance carrier. Previously he was the Chief Technologist at e.magination where he consulted with clients including Advertising.com/AOL where he was the Tech Lead for one of the highest volume .NET applications in the world.
