In this #c4d / #Redshift tutorial I will be compositing a 3D character into real video footage.
We will start off in After Effects where we will be converting the real video footage into an image sequence.

We will then be replicating the real world shadows and reflections on a 3D plane but at the same time making that transparent while holding onto our shadows and reflections.
Finally we will be bringing everything into After Effects again for some colour correction.
