An alternative to replacing the passenger side check valve on a C5 Corvette(1997-2004). The cause of the problem is an old check valve that is warn out causing your CHECK ENGINE light to come on. The C5's computer will tell you that you have a P1416 code which indicates a faulty passenger side check valve.
