This tutorial demonstrates how to calculate advanced spatial access metrics, including Driving Time, Count of Resources, and Access Score, using the spatial_access Python package. These spatial access metrics can be applied to a wide range of resources or services. This tutorial calculates access to methadone resources (methadone is one of three FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder, or MOUD), for all continental US zip codes using methadone provider locations.
