This session highlighted conservation genomics research from the California Conservation Genomics Project (CCGP), a unified initiative to generate the largest genomic dataset ever assembled for conservation.
The CCGP has generated new genomic resources for hundreds of species from across the state of California, USA, with the goal of applying landscape and population genomic tools to inform management strategies for individual species, regions and ecosystems.
As the project is nearing completion, we will share our accomplishments and innovative strategies for applying whole genome resequencing data to this comprehensive, regional approach to biological conservation.
