When a function is passed as an argument to another function then that passed function is called a Callback function. The function that receives the callback function is called a Higher-Order Function (HOF), and there is also a function that returns a new function back to the caller. so that also comes under HOF. All of the concepts are well explained, with more appropriate real-world examples. These two concepts are widely used in javascript frameworks and libraries. Also during DOM Event Handling and HTTP Request-Response Handling.
