Canaan Loop Road from WV 32 at Canaan Heights to where the road turns rough near Lindy Run. The other end of Canaan Loop is accessible from Blackwater Falls State Park at the ski area, which leads to the Lindy Point Overlook. This road starts out graveled and well maintained, but progressively deteriorates. A 4WD is recommended for the most interior parts of this road. A large number of trail heads are found off of Canaan Loop Road, popular with bikers, hikers and cross country skiers. The streams along the road are also favorites of fishermen.
