The Canon XA series (XA40, XA50, XA45, XA55, etc al) comes with a detachable top handle which contains 2 XLR inputs as well as physical settings knobs on the reverse side. In this video, I explain how to use the very settings to make sure that you're capturing audio from the right source(s) and avoid capturing accidental one sided audio.
