Canonical Observability Stack Tryout | Cloud Robotics WG
In this session, the CRWG started setting up the Canonical Observability Stack (COS) from Canonical. The group found that WSL was not suitable for installation, then the presenter had issues cloning a VirtualBox VM due to running out of disk space. Unfortunately, at this point the recording stopped due to the same disk space issue. From there, the presenter switched to setting up in AWS. After setting up the stack, the group found that it was incorrectly formed and needed subsequent manual setup commands for a postgres database. After this, the group realised that the wrong IP address was being used for hosting, and failed to fix the issue in the last few minutes.
