Canva Bulk Content Creation Using Canva Sheets

Creating Designs in Bulk Save time designing various items like business cards, invitations, and social media posts, etc., using Bulk Create for minimal text changes such as names, photos, dates, and numbers. This feature is available to Canva Pro, Canva Teams, Canva for Education, and Canva for Nonprofits users on desktop only. Watch the video to see how to create posts in bulk. What you’ll need beforehand: A branded template/image, including logo, fonts, and color elements. Create ahead of time. You’ll need it later. Content you want in the designs, for example, if you’re designing 20 Tax Tip Tuesday posts, have the text and call to action ready. It will be uploaded or created using Canva Sheets. Branded images (optional). The Data Using Canva’s Sheet feature, enter the column headers, e.g., Content, Link, Image, CTA, Logo. If you do not have the Sheet’s feature in your account, you can upload a CSV file. If you do not have images for the Image column, you will need to identify them. Choose from Canva’s vast image library or upload your own images. Once the data sheet is complete, from the left side panel click Bulk Create. If you do not see Bulk Create, click on Apps and search for it. Set up your data by selecting the data collection, including the column header. To select the rows and columns, hold and drag the mouse over the cells you need. Click Continue. Choose the template you want to use for consistency. Click on an item in the template, such as the URL, click Connect Data and choose the cell from your data source that goes into that “field.” For example, click on the URL, click Connect Data, and choose Link from your data sheet. Do this for each item you want to bulk import. Tip: You are only connecting the column headers to the items on the template. The designs will be created individually and put into a folder. To view them, you can go to the folder, or you can click on each Design in the Canva Sheets file. Voila! A series of branded images you use to fill your social media content calendar.
