Questions 1.What is chemical Reactor? 2.What is full form of MFR? 3.What is unit process? 4.What is unit operation? 5.What are the different reactor model? 6.What is distillation process? 7.What is optimization? Answers: 1.A chemical reactor is an enclosed volume in which a chemical reaction takes place. In chemical engineering, it is generally understood to be a process vessel used to carry out a chemical reaction. 2.Mixed flow reactor 3. Unit process is a process, such as filtration or distillation, which is used in many chemical and process industries 4.In chemical engineering and related fields, a unit operation is a basic step in a process. Unit operations involve a physical change or chemical transformation such as separation, crystallization, evaporation, filtration 5.CSTR model, PFR, stoichiometric, chemical equilibrium model 6.Distillation is the process of separating the components or substances from a liquid mixture by using selective boiling and condensation. 7.Process optimization is the discipline of adjusting a process so as to optimize (make the best or most effective use of) some specified set of parameters without violating some constraint. The most common goals are minimizing cost and maximizing throughput and/or efficiency.
