Capuchin Monkey plays with SPIDER MONKEY!!

We had a special guest come visit our troop today! Ohana was out and got to enjoy the baby spider monkey with a calm play day! Since she is more laid back than the others, we figured he would be a good one to have out with her. Interesting information on why spider monkeys are so docile: they evolved to only having four fingers and use their hugs for affection instead of grooming. They no longer needed their thumb and their tail feels and acts just like the “thumb”. It is shown up close in this video along with Ohana stealing Meela’s mom with all the hugs and cuddles.
