The Carbon Fibre demonstrations offered a brief introduction to composite materials and the importance of surface preparation. There was a demonstration of column wrapping for Axial and Confinement and an example of how you can flexural strengthen with Carbon Fibre plates.
Delegates were also be shown a demonstration of Anchoring carbon fibre using “Fiocco” method and of “NSM- Near Surface Mounted” reinforcement.
