You know know just how frustrating is can be when nothing is working. There are only four major reasons for a leaking carburetor. 1. Damaged or worn float valve 2. Improper float height adjustment 3. Cracked overflow drain tube 4. The ultimate killer. I worn or deteriorated float valve seat. In this video, we are going to solve the problem before it even begins by transplanting a good float valve seat from a similar carburetor, into the carburetor I am using on my 1979 XL185.
