Cardinal & Delorme - Something

Spoiler warnings for S1, S2 and S3! Definitely not in chronological order. I started this fanvid during S2, but I just wasn’t inspired – too much tension in the relationship. In light of what happened to Catherine, I almost removed Musgrave’s voice over at the beginning…. He’s so obnoxious, but probably accurate here. Thoughts about this.... Devotion plays a strong part in this pairing, as an attractive and admirable character trait and probably as a huge frustration. Whew! The subtext between these two characters is huge. Keeps me re-watching to see if I've missed something. One of my favourite parts of this is glimpsing Delorme wipe her mouth after watching Cardinal kiss Catherine. What does that say? Delorme probably knew about Catherine’s death as she watched Cardinal walk away with her keys and cell phone. Delorme is the exact opposite of Catherine. Music credits are at the end. (I initially used the original version of this song, but it was blocked and thought this was a great alternative!) I own nothing.
