Cascadeur Feature Highlights 2026.1

Cascadeur 2026.1 is now available for download! 🔥 In this release we've prepared: New render engine - Filament Previously, we've added Filament as a separate experimental build for version 2025.3. Now it's included in the main build, available for everyone. Environment lighting, HDRI and materials can now be incorporated into your scenes. Updated Live Link for Unreal Engine With great support from Epic Games, Cascadeur now has a dedicated Live Link plugin for Unreal Engine. You'll be able to stream animation data from one or multiple characters and scenes into your Unreal Engine project! Root Motion A new generative tool similar to the Inbetweening tool that creates animation based on the trajectory of the character, which is extrapolated from the character's pelvis position and its general direction. Collision Penetration Cleaning A new cleanup tool for penetration cleaning, which works with self-collisions, ground and static colliders. Say goodbye to your character's hands passing through their body! Point Constraints now work with AutoPosing and are taken into account in AutoPhysics and Ragdoll We've significantly improved the constraints and the systems that interact with it. Now the constrained points will follow along in pretty much all situations (results may vary). And many more things! A few important notes, please read them carefully: 1) Unreal Engine Live Link is temporarily available as a manual download and install. You'll find the plugin download links in the dedicated documentation page for Cascadeur's Live Link - https://cascadeur.com/help/category/268. We're going to upload the plugin to the FAB marketplace later. 2) If you've encountered a bug, please report it in the ⁠bug-reports channel - it will greatly help us release hotfix versions faster. If you're using Cascadeur in a production environment, you can definitely wait until a few hotfixes get released, before updating to 2026.1. 3) As always, the documentation will be gradually updated to reflect the changes and updates of version 2026.1.
