Case Turner
Along with Bevco's Bump Turner, Case Turner is a simple, yet effective device to rotate and change the orientation of beer cans and cartons while travelling along a conveyor system. The Case turner uses two chains moving at different speeds to rotate a package by the required number of degrees. The speeds of the chains can be adjusted to rotate the package by any amount (ex 90o, 180o, 270o, 720o). Rotating a case is necessary for feeding the containers in the correct orientation into a secondary packaging machine such as a tray packer or stacker. Sometimes case turning is required to add a label or code a package in a certain location. The standard version of the case turner is : • 6’-0” long • Uses 2 - HP8505 chains • VG-203 adjustable guiderail brackets • 2” square tube legs with adjustable foot pads (+- 3”) • 2PC. Plastic split sprockets • Link Belt Polyamide bearings • SEW SA-47 Gearmotors • All Stainless steel construction • 2 ¼” Tee Guiderail. • Legs are customized to fit the required elevation for each application. Available Options: • 1500 series chain for a tighter nose over radius for a decreased gap between the case turner and infeed and outfeed conveyors. • Increased or decreased overall length • Increased width for wider packages • Various guiderail options available For more information on Bevco's conveyors and other packaging equipment, please visit https://bevco.net/ If you have questions regarding packaging or improving your canning line give our team a call or email: https://bevco.net/pages/contact-us #caseturner #reorientation #bumpturner #cartoner #craftbrewery #beercanning #conveyor #packaging
