Woops, the original upload has the wrong "color space"! This one will look better :) ------------------------------------------ 3D Printers are great.... but you end up with a bit of plastic. It's great at first but, it's just a bit of plastic. You could use your printer to make "patterns" for Sand Casting, but that can be a fair bit of work. You can also do investment casting, but that is even more work! Imagine if you could just 3D Print a mold and pour metal into it! Here is a sneak peak of up upcoming 3D Resin that does exactly that, and not just low temp metals like Pewter, but industrial alloys like Zamak12 (Zinc Alloy) at 500c / 930f. ...more to come as this new resin hits the market.
