Catherine's Calling

Catherine's Calling is an English Country Dance devised by Joseph Pimentel in 2015 and revised in 2019. It is a proper duple minor longways dance. The tune, called The Lemmings, was composed by Dave Wiesler. It was performed by Goldcrest (Daron Douglas, Paul Oorts and Dave Wiesler) on the album "The Green Jay Collection". It is used with permission of Joseph Pimentel and Goldcrest and may be obtained from the online store at https://cdss.org/ or at https://bandcamp.com/ The animation plays at 112 counts per minute normally, but the first time through the set the dance is slowed down so people can learn the moves more readily. Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses.
