A talk on the history of Cathodic Protection, including and detailing the different types of impressed current applications and sacrificial anodes will introduce this area. Delegates had the opportunity to see a sacrificial anode system and a mesh and overlay system which has been energised by the remote monitoring and control panel, which will also be displayed. Displayed on the TV screen is the software demonstrating the mesh and overlay system being cathodically protected.
