Always important to be safe when trenching. This video shows a residential trench footing at approx 3-3.5 foot depth. Concrete was running behind and a weak point formed near the corner of this project most likely due to saturation from recent rains. Sometimes this happens. It is always important to never have anyone in a trench. For this work, it is done from above. For deeper projects or commercial work such as sewer or pipe laying, proper shoring must be used for protection. God bless!!
