CBIT Documentary

The CBIT documentary highlights Uganda’s journey toward strengthening climate transparency and accountability through the Capacity Building Initiative for Transparency (CBIT). Anchored in the commitments of the Paris Agreement, it showcases how Uganda is building national capacity to collect, manage and report high-quality greenhouse gas (GHG) data to support evidence-based climate action and implementation of its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). Featuring insights from government officials, technical experts and project partners, the documentary captures the transformative impact of CBIT in equipping Ugandans with practical skills for greenhouse gas data collection, analysis and reporting across key sectors. It demonstrates how strengthening institutional capacity, improving data systems and fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration are laying the foundation for credible climate reporting, climate finance access and a more sustainable future for Uganda.
