The Pearl, from Freedom Scientific, is a high speed camera that can be used in conjunction with the Open Book optical character recognition (OCR) software. It can scan up to 20 pages per minute and has a an automatic scanning feature built in where it recognizes motion as you turn the page and takes a scan of that page automatically.
