CDM Deshelling Machine for Coconut
Working capacity between 10 coconuts per minute with single cut. The machine has to be manually fed from one or two operators. In the first phase, the coconuts will be placed, two by two, on proper cups, positioned on two channels on the left side of the machine and transferred to the cutting zone. Each coconut will be held by means two grippers (hands), making turn of 360°. After that a rotating tool (blade) creates the first horizontal incision all around the fruit. The “shell cut coconuts” will be released from the grippers and collected on the belt on the back side of the machine, to be transferred to the front side, ready to be re-loaded for the second phase. Then the “first cut” coconuts will be manually placed, with the first cut in vertical direction, two by two, on proper cups, positioned on two channels on the right side of the machine and transferred to the cutting zone. Each coconut will be held by means two grippers (hands), making turn of 360°. After that a rotating tool (blade) creates the second horizontal incision all around the fruit. The “shell cut coconuts” with double incision, will be released from the grippers and discharged on the exit belt on back side of the machine, to be collected and checked from the operator.
