The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Sree Chaitanya College of Engineering, Dept of ECE successfully organized World Intellectual Property Day 2026 under the theme “Invention & Performance (Patents)” on 26 April 2026
Resource Person, Mrs. N. Swetha, Assistant Professor of MBA highline the following,
1. Role of patents, trademarks & copyrights in innovation
2. IP’s impact on sports technology & performance
3. Real-time demonstrations of patented sports equipment
4. Understanding IP as a tool for growth and sustainability
56 Students 14 Faculty participants gained practical exposure to IP management, brand literacy, and innovation protection, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.
The program also achieved a significant increase in digital engagement and awareness among students.
