Celsosia is a unique colossus, being pretty small. Plus you need to use a torch to defeat it (the only time in the entire game where you use a temporary item). You wouldn't think the 'Flame Guardian' would be afraid of fire, but it is, and making it back up off the cliff is the only way to expose it's weak spot.
